Benjamin Yeptho, the President of Nagaland BJP, exuded confidence in their electoral prospects, affirming that victory seemed assured.

“No doubt, we are winning with flying colors,” said Yeptho.

Notably, the Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) was conspicuously absent from the PDA coordination meeting. Chief Minister Rio clarified this absence by explaining that ENLU members were currently in Delhi, engaging with Central leaders such as AK Mishra and the Home Secretary. Rio mentioned that they had expressed their intention to meet Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister.

Chief Minister Rio outlined the next steps, stating that upon the return of ENLU members to Nagaland, the cabinet would convene to formally address their concerns.
