State BJP President Benjamin Yepthomi met with National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh in New Delhi on the evening of 1 October 2024 to hold detailed discussions on the party’s organizational activities in Nagaland over the past year. Yepthomi briefed him on the state’s performance in the first phase of the Sadasyata Abhiyan Membership Drive 2024, according to a press release.
The State President was accompanied by National Secretary and Prabhari In-charge of Nagaland State Anil K. Antony, as well as Advisor for Tribal Affairs and Election Tovihoto Ayemi. They also met with BL Santhosh, along with former Deputy Speaker of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and former RPI official candidate for the 2023 General Election Yangseo Sangtam, and former Vice-Chairman of the North East Congress Coordination Committee Dr. Bobby Panicker, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh welcomed both leaders into the party’s fold and congratulated them for joining the world’s largest national political party. He also encouraged them to stay focused on the goals ahead.
