Kohima, 3 December (MTNews): The Nagaland Board of School Education has announced the schedule for the the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) and the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations 2024.
The HSSLC Examination 2024 is set to take place from 12th February 2024 to 6th March 2024, while the HSLC Examination 2024 will be held from 13th February 2024 to 23rd February 2024.
For the HSSLC Examination, a total of 17,907 candidates are enrolled, distributed across Arts (14,311), Commerce (969), and Science (2,623). These candidates will be taking the exams at 68 examination centres. Additionally, 274 candidates will appear under the Compartmental category in 13 examination centres.
Simultaneously, the Class XI Promotion Examination 2024 will be conducted from 12th February 2024 in the afternoon (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm) alongside the HSSLC Examination. A total of 20,166 students have enrolled for Class XI, and they will participate in 185 registered higher secondary schools across the State.
For the HSLC Examination 2024, a total 22,152 candidates are registered to appear at 95 examination centres. Furthermore, 449 candidates will take the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2024 at 15 examination centres.
The examination routines are available on the Board’s portal (www.nbsenl.edu.in). Heads of institutions, teachers, and students have been urged to visit the portal to download the schedules and plan their study schedules accordingly.
