Mokokchung, January 7 (MTNews): The Chief Electoral Officer of Nagaland V Shashank Shekhar has on Saturday clarified on the fake news with regard to the conduct of the Nagaland Assembly Election, 2023.
The CEO said that the date and timing of Nagaland Assembly Election, 2023 will be notified by the Election Commission of India and appealed all public to abstain from creating and circulating such fake news. He further cautioned that anyone found to be intentionally creating and circulating fake news will be dealt with as per the relevant provisions of the law.
The CEO Nagaland further advised all to rely only on official press releases or statements from the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland.
