As the ongoing mass movement Bharat Jodo Yatra (Unite India March), launched by the Indian National Congress and mobilized by Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, enters day 58, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) is also preparing to lead the march across the state of Nagaland.

 

K. Therie, President of NPCC, confirmed to Mokokchung Times that the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be held throughout Nagaland. He also stated that they are working on an exact date and will send out official details and information as soon as possible.

 

Meanwhile, Nagaland Congress has announced that Bharat Jodo Yatra will be organized with Tsenthungo as State coordinator and Akavi Zhimomi as joint coordinator. The coordinators along with the AICC secretary Ranajit Mukherjee and NPCC president K Therie held a meeting on Sunday to chart out course of action for BJY in Nagaland.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra involves the party cadre and general public walking by foot from Kanyakumari, the peninsula’s southern tip, to the union territory of Jammu.
