Kohima, 19 July (MTNews): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has welcomed Lithriyen Dupongle, former Secretary of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and ex-candidate to the Indian National Congress party fold.
Dupongle, who also previously served as the member In-charge of Phek & Kiphire District, decided to join the NPCC, marking a significant development in the political landscape of Nagaland.
The NPCC expressed its honor in enrolling Lithriyen Dupongle and welcomed him and his supporters to the “humble Congress family to work for needy people of the State.”
“The NPCC always welcomes responsible and like-minded leaders to come forward and join the humble Congress family with the greater vision to build Nagaland as a corruption-free State,” stated NPCC President Supongmeren Jamir.
