Mokokchung, 9 August (MTNews): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) will conduct Open Trials for Men’s U-19, Men’s U-23 and Senior Men from 17 to 23 August 2023 in Sovima.
In this respect, the Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) has informed that the open trials for Men’s U-19 will be held at Sovima Cricket Ground from 17-19 August while open trials for Men’s U-23 will be held at Nagaland Cricket Stadium on the same dates. Meanwhile, it was informed that open trials for Senior Men will be held from 21 to 23 August at Nagaland Cricket Stadium.
For Boys U-19 category, a player should be born on or after 1 September 2004 while a player should be born on or after 1 September 2000 for the Men’s U-23 category.
The NCA has informed that Fitness Test will be conducted. All interested players are to contact their respective District Cricket Associations and attend the Trials at their own expenses.
It was informed that a player can participate in only one category and that the verification of the player’s documents should be strictly done by respective District Cricket Associations.
Players should produce original Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, and Pan Card at the time of reporting for further scrutiny of documents, it was informed. Additionally, School Mark sheet/School Leaving Certificate for Boys U19 will be required, it was informed.
NCA also informed that respective District Cricket Associations should submit the players’ list latest by 14 August 2023.
