The Nagaland Education team, led by Adviser for School Education and SCERT, K.T Sukhalu attended the two-day School Education Ministers Conference in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 1st and 2nd June.

 

The conference was convened by the Ministry of Education to review and discuss the roll out and progress of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, its implementation status, State Curriculum Framework preparation by states, sharing of strategies for Learning Recovery after School Reopening, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy and Vidhaya Pravesh, Skills in school, Student Registry and National Digital Education Architecture.

 

The session also included intensive discussion on various critical aspects on the implementation of NEP 2020 by the States and Union Territories.

 

Advisor Sukhalu was accompanied by Kevileno Angami, commissioner and secretary School Education and SCERT; Temsunaro Aier, state mission director of Samagra Shiksha; and Dr. Kevizakie Rio, joint mission director of Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland.
