Kohima, June 12 (MTNews): Two English Premier League Fan Clubs of Nagaland, namely NagaKop, the Official Liverpool Supporters’ Club Nagaland and Chelsea Fans Nagaland (CFN) organized a friendly football match at IG Stadium in Kohima on Saturday.
The event was organized to bring together the ever growing fan base of the two English Premier League clubs in Nagaland and allow the supporters to celebrate the game. NagaKop registered a runaway 6 goals to 1 win over the Chelsea Fans Nagaland with a brace each from Akika, Akhrie and Kevi. Sunep Imchen scored the consolation goal for the CFN.
The officials for the match were Samuel, Repa and Ren, who are also currently officiating in the ongoing Morning Premier League organized by the Morning Football Association. The two Clubs were founded primarily to bring together all their supporters under one roof and organize regular match screenings of their respective clubs.
