The Directorate of Food & Civil Supplies (F&CS), Nagaland, has informed that, as per the directive of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, all Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Households (PHH) beneficiaries availing food grains under the National Food Security Act, 2013, are required to submit their mobile numbers at their respective Fair Price Shops or District Offices for updating in the Ration Card Management System (RCMS) Portal.
Further, beneficiaries who have not yet linked their Aadhaar to their ration card or have not completed their e-KYC status have been informed to do so at the earliest. It was also informed that failure to complete this process of linking mobile numbers, performing e-KYC, and linking Aadhaar numbers with their respective ration cards will result in the deletion of ration cards and the subsequent curtailment of their food grain entitlement.
The deadline for completing these requirements is 31st March 2025. In this regard, directives have been issued to all District Food & Civil Supplies Offices and all Fair Price Shops to coordinate with beneficiaries to ensure the timely completion of the process within the stipulated time.
