The 4th Edition of the Nagaland Futsal Club Championship (NFCC) 2025 concluded on March 22 at the Futsal Centre, Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima, Chümoukedima.

The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Watizulu Jamir, Chairman of the Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) and Vice President of the Badminton Association of India (BAI), who, in his address, highlighted the importance of sports in youth development and state-building.

Following the formal program, the much-anticipated final match saw former champions Aphuyemi FC (Zunheboto) reclaim the title after defeating defending champions Nyenshen FC (Tuensang) in a gripping encounter that ended 7–4. The match showcased fast-paced futsal action, tactical brilliance, and high-level competitiveness from both sides.

Aphuyemi FC’s attacking prowess and composure under pressure secured their place as champions of the 2025 edition, earning them the opportunity to represent the state in this year’s national tournament.

The winning team walked away with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while the runner-up team was awarded Rs 50,000.

The tournament was organized under the aegis of the Nagaland Football Association, with a total of seven teams participating.
