Mokokchung, 21 May (MTNews): The Government of Nagaland has, through a notification from Department of Personnel and Administrative dated 19 May, affected the transfer and reshuffle of at least 31 IAS, NCS and NSS officers, the first major bureaucratic reshuffle since the new tenure of the government was installed.
It was informed that the order of transfer and posting of the 36 State civil servants were with immediate effect.
According to the notification, Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS has been transferred and posted as Director of Minority Affairs. Meanwhile, Thsuvisie Phoji NCS, who is presently the Deputy Commissioner of the newly formed district of Shamator, has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung.
