The North Eastern Council (NEC) is also involved in the development of 74 projects across various sectors in different districts of Nagaland. These projects aim to address a wide range of developmental needs and contribute to the growth of the region.

In terms of technological advancements, the Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Centre has conducted comprehensive mapping for all District Headquarters and towns. The integration of urban data and reconstructions, along with the use of drone technology for near real-time data collection, is expected to enhance planning and management efforts for better infrastructure and development in the state.
