Nagaland Government effects reshuffling of key administrative officers

Kohima, 7 August (MTNews): The Nagaland government has announced reshuffling of some of its key officials. The changes were announced through an official notification signed by Nagaland Chief Secretary J Alam stating that it was done in the interest of public service.

 

Notably, Y Kikheto Sema, IAS, who previously held the position of Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare (H&FW), has been transferred and assigned as the new Commissioner & Secretary of the Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department (EF&CC). Replacing Sema in the H&FW Department is Kevileno Angami, who was serving as the Commissioner & Secretary of School Education & State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

V Kezo, who previously held the position of Commissioner & Secretary of Land Resources and Finance, has taken over as the new Commissioner & Secretary of School Education & SCERT.

 

Additionally, Asenla Keitzar, IAS, who previously served as the Commissioner & Secretary of EF&CC, has been transferred and posted as the new Commissioner & Secretary of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR).

 

Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, who held the position of Commissioner & Secretary to Chief Minister and was in charge of Works & Housing, has been assigned to hold additional charge of Finance.
