Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav is scheduled to visit Mokokchung on Thursday for an interaction with civil society organisations, beneficiaries of government schemes and officials of various departments.

During the visit, the Governor will also review important developmental schemes and projects being implemented in the district.

According to the program issued by the Mokokchung district administration, the Governor will hold a review meeting with Heads of Departments, offices and institutions at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall at 10:30 a.m.

The meeting will include a presentation on the Mokokchung district profile, followed by presentations from the Agriculture, Health and Family Welfare, Road & Bridges, Land Resources and Integrated Child Development Services departments.

An interactive session with the Governor is also scheduled, including experience-sharing by beneficiaries of various government schemes.

Advisor for Water Resources Tongpang Ozukum is scheduled to address the meeting, while Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Verma will deliver the welcome address.

The Governor’s visit will also include an interaction with civil society organisations as part of the district program.

The district administration has made arrangements for security, protocol, medical assistance, fire services and other requirements for the visit.
