Highlighting early achievements, the Governor said over 1,500 jobs have already been created through registered startups, and Nagaland has gained national recognition in the Export Preparedness Index. The State is also leveraging technology to improve supply chains through the Unified Logistics Interface Platform, while responsibly exploring resources such as petroleum, natural gas, and minerals.

Governor Bhalla spoke about modernizing the State through technology. He highlighted the AVGC-XR sector (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) as a new source of employment and cultural opportunities. The Nagaland Innovation Hub at Chumoukedima and AI Data Labs at two Industrial Training Institutes aim to equip youth with skills in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Programs under PM-KISAN and the National Mission on Natural Farming aim to improve agricultural productivity, while initiatives in horticulture, including Golden Kiwifruit cultivation, livestock, fisheries, and sericulture aim to support rural livelihoods, especially for women.
