The Governor of Nagaland has ordered the transfer and posting of several Medical Officers under the Health & Family Welfare Department “in the interest of public service.”
According to Notification No H&FW(A)-12/235/2024/92, the changes affect officers across various districts and health facilities. The list of transfers and postings is as follows:

The notification directed that handing and taking over of charge “should be completed within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of issue.” It instructed controlling officers to “release the concerned officers within the stipulated time and to stop release of salaries from the date of handing over charge/release.”
It also cautioned that “no application for retention shall be entertained” and warned that “disciplinary action will be initiated against defaulting officers.”
