The Nagaland Government has decided to lease Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, under a public-private partnership.
Minister for Tourism Temjen Imna Along said the decision was taken during a recent Cabinet meeting held in Wokha.
He said the site would be leased for activities throughout the year, except during the Hornbill Festival. An open tender will be invited for the lease, with first preference given to citizens of Nagaland and their societies or firms, the Minister said.
Along added that the Hornbill Festival would continue to remain under the Tourism Department as the nodal department.
