The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) successfully organised the 2nd Judo Ranking Event at Eden Academy, bringing together 156 judokas from across the state. The event was held with the objective of evaluating athletes’ technical skills, monitoring their progress, and providing them with an opportunity to earn promotion to higher belt levels through a standardised ranking assessment.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from judokas across different belt categories, reflecting the growing interest in the sport in Nagaland, the Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) said in a press statement.
Throughout the day, participants demonstrated discipline, determination and sportsmanship while undergoing rigorous technical evaluations conducted by qualified officials and instructors of the Nagaland Judo Association.
The Association expressed its appreciation to Eden Academy for providing the venue and extending its support in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the event. Gratitude was also conveyed to the coaches, officials, volunteers, parents and supporters whose dedication and cooperation contributed significantly to the success of the programme.
