The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) has announced that an open selection trial for the upcoming Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2025–26 will be conducted on November 1, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, Mokokchung, starting from 9:00 am onward.
The Sub-Junior National Judo Championship is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from November 16 to 20, 2025. The selection trial aims to identify and select promising young judokas from across Nagaland to represent the state at the national level.
According to the NJA, the trial is open to both boys and girls aged between 12 to 15 years, born between 2011 and 2013. Participants must be natives of Nagaland and are required to produce their original Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate during registration.
The selection process will be held in accordance with the contest rules and regulations of the Judo Federation of India (JFI) and the International Judo Federation (IJF). A registration fee of Rs. 100 per participant will be charged for the selection trial.
