The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that the state men’s basketball team will take part in the 5th 3×3 National Basketball Championship for Men and Women, scheduled in Delhi from January 29 to 31, 2026.

This year’s squad reflects the youthful energy and long-term vision of Nagaland basketball. Selected with development and future potential in mind, the team combines talent and determination and is ready to showcase its skills on the national stage.

The team members are Sedeneituo Kuotsu, Theyieneilhou Rutsa, Cuwe Mero as Vice Captain, and Keneitseizo Belho as Captain. Under the leadership of Belho and Mero, the squad aims to bring Nagaland’s competitive spirit and resilience to the championship. The team is scheduled to depart from Dimapur on the morning of January 27.

In a statement, Sentiningsang Longkumer, Honorary Secretary of the NBA, said, “This young and capable team represents the future of Nagaland basketball. Their participation in the 5th 3×3 National Championship is not just about competition, but about building a legacy of excellence, resilience, and pride for our state.”

The participation underscores Nagaland’s growing presence in national basketball and highlights the state’s focus on nurturing emerging talent for future competitions.
