Nagaland’s Minister for Higher Education and Tourism, Imna Along, and Advisor for School Education & State Council of Educational Research & Training, Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, met with Peters Chen, Director of the Education Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India, and Sampriti Rajkhowa, Education Assistant at TECC, in New Delhi on March 19.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration in Mandarin language education, academic programs, and employment opportunities. Discussions covered scholarships, internships, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and student exchange programs to enhance educational ties between Nagaland and Taiwan.

With a slowing population growth, Taiwan is facing a growing demand for skilled professionals and has been making significant investments in human resource development. As a global leader in semiconductors and education, Taiwan offers promising opportunities for students and professionals from Nagaland.
