The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) announced that the 4th Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026 (NOPG) will be held from April 7 to April 18 across Kohima, Chümoukedima, and Dimapur districts, SportsLive Nagaland reported.

Football competitions will begin on April 7, while all other sporting disciplines will commence from April 14, the NOA stated in an update.

The NOA said the list of disciplines has been finalized in alignment with the proposed 4th North East Games 2026 and after considering available infrastructure and resources in the state.

It was also reported that the nine disciplines approved for the Games include archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, football, pencak silat, taekwondo, and wushu.

The NOA stated that individual competition notifications will be issued separately by the respective sports associations.

The NOA also informed that the registration of players and teams will be done electronically, commencing from March 20, 2026, and the last date for submission of players’ and officials’ registration will be April 1, 2026. Once players are registered, no changes of names will be permitted.
