The Nagaland Over-40 Football Tournament, organized by Old Time Blitzers, concluded with an intense final match between Forties FC Mokokchung and Naga Pioneers Chumoukedima. Held with great enthusiasm, the tournament brought together veteran footballers from across the state, showcasing skill and sportsmanship.

In a closely contested final, Naga Pioneers Chumoukedima emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Forties FC Mokokchung. Despite the loss, Forties FC Mokokchung’s Tsupongtsuba was recognized for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament, receiving the prestigious Player of the Tournament award.

The Nagaland Over-40 Football Tournament served as a testament to the passion for football among the veteran players, while also fostering camaraderie among participants and fans alike.

A total of six teams participated in the tournament: Naga Pioneers, Old Boys, Auto Gallery FC, Nokbe Veteran FC Diphu, Forties FC Mokokchung, and Dongkamukam. Held under the theme “Health and Unity,” the tournament took place at DDSC Stadium in Dimapur from October 28 to 31, 2024.
