The inaugural Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026, a three-day championship aimed at promoting the growth of pickleball in the state, will be held from July 24 to 26, 2026 at The Fitness House, Nagaland.

Organised by the Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA) and presented by Niathu Group in association with The Fitness House, the tournament will feature leading players from Nagaland and across India competing in multiple categories, including Men’s Doubles Open, Women’s Doubles Open, Mixed Doubles Open and senior categories.

The championship carries a total prize pool of Rs 3 lakh and will begin at 9:00 AM on July 24. The opening ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM on the same day, with Minister for NPWD, Housing and Mechanical Engineering, Government of Nagaland, Bashangmongba Chang, attending as the chief guest.

The event is expected to showcase competitive pickleball while encouraging wider participation in one of the fastest-growing sports globally. Besides matches, the championship will feature exhibition games, fan activities, raffle draws and hospitality programmes.

NPA stated that the tournament marks an important milestone in strengthening pickleball at both grassroots and competitive levels in Nagaland.
