The Nagaland Police has issued a public advisory warning citizens about an emerging investment scam involving a company identified as RGA. According to the police, the company has reportedly lured several investors from Nagaland by promising exceptionally high returns on investments.

“Initial Investors are given returns as promised, apparently to look genuine,” it said. Further, the police said, investors are given down line percentages to investors for introducing new investors. “This, appears to be a Ponzi Scheme,” stated the police.

The police have advised individuals who have lost money to call 1930 (Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System) immediately and report the scam with details for remedial measures and report these through the website cybercrime.gov.in.
