The Nagaland Police has issued an update on its ongoing recruitment process for 1176 Constable (General Duty) posts, informing that as of 5:00 p.m. on October 8, a total of 4,680 candidates have registered, while 3,720 candidates have successfully submitted their applications by paying the examination fee of Rs 300.
The department noted that several candidates who have registered are yet to complete their application process by paying the examination fee. It urged all such candidates to ensure payment before the final deadline of November 7, 2025, failing which they will not be eligible to appear for the recruitment examination.
In its update, Nagaland Police also clarified that candidates with tattoos are eligible to apply. However, it added that “the final decision on what degree of tattooing will be acceptable will rest with the Department.”
