Mokokchung, June 14 (MTNews): Nagaland Police in an effort to curb corruption in public service has appealed to the general public to inform CID Nagaland on corruption practices, demand for bribes, or disproportionate assets by public servants of state government, government of India, state and central public sector undertakings, or banks.

 

In a public notice, Nagaland Police said that the complaint if any be addressed to the officer in-charge, State Crime Police Station, Police Headquarters, Kohima, Nagaland. The complaints may be reported on the following mobile number 6009308037 and email id statecrimeps-ngl@gov.in.

 

Stressing that tackling corruption is not just the responsibility of any single agency but a collective responsibility, Nagaland Police appealed to the public to report any of the above forms of corruption practices for necessary legal action under appropriate sections of the law.

 

The identity of the informant shall be kept confidential, the public notice issued by Manojkumar A, IPS, superintendent of Police (Crime) and PRO, PHQ Nagaland said.
