The hoardings prominently displayed actionable points under Mission LiFE, including energy and water conservation, adoption of sustainable practices such as waste reduction, e-waste management, and reducing the use of single-use plastic. Additionally, the campaign highlighted the importance of embracing healthy lifestyles and sustainable food systems.

The National Clean Air Program (NCAP) is a comprehensive initiative launched by the Central government with the objective of reducing air pollution levels in the country. The program aims to achieve a 40 percent reduction in particulate matter pollution by 2026. The participation of the Nagaland Pollution Control Board in the NCAP demonstrates the state’s commitment to environmental protection and improving air quality for its residents.

Mission LiFE, which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the UN Climate Change Conference in 2021, is a global movement that emphasizes the significance of individual and community action in combating climate change. It envisions a transition from a wasteful economy to a circular economy through mindful resource utilization. Mission LiFE encourages individuals to make simple changes in their daily lives that collectively have a significant impact on climate change worldwide.
