The office of the Commissioner & Secretary to the Governor of Nagaland has announced that “Raj Bhavan, Nagaland” has been officially renamed as “Lok Bhavan, Nagaland”.
Commissioner & Secretary Thavaseelan K, IAS informed that the renaming follows a communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, issued via Memo No. 7/10/2025 (Part)-M&G dated November 25, 2025, and has received the approval of the Governor of Nagaland.
According to the notification, the institution will henceforth be referred to as “Lok Bhavan, Nagaland”. The change comes into immediate effect.
