Mokokchung, December 1 (MTNews): According to the latest report released by the Finance Ministry, Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for the month of November 2022 stood at Rs. 1,45,867 crore, 11% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year, which was Rs. 1.31,526 crore.

 

The gross GST revenue collected in the month of November 2022 was Rs. 1,45,867 crore of which CGST was Rs. 25,681 crore, SGST was Rs. 32,651 crore, IGST was Rs. 77,103 crore (including Rs. 38,635 crore collected on import of goods) and Cess was Rs. 10,433 crore (including Rs. 817 crore collected on import of goods)

 

Meanwhile, Nagaland also recorded 11% growth in the GST in between November 2021 and 2022 i.e. from 30 crore in November 2021 to 34 crore in November 2022.

 

It was further reported that India has been recording monthly GST revenues more than Rs. 1.4 lakh crore for nine straight months in a row.
