The Nagaland State Government has sent its revised and updated comments to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on the draft Memorandum of Settlement (MOS-III) for the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory Authority (FNTA). This was informed by the Home Department (Political Branch), Government of Nagaland, on 25 November 2025.
The updated and revised comments on the draft MOS-III are a culmination of various tripartite meetings between the Government of India (GoI), the Government of Nagaland (GoN) and the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO), as well as meetings between ENPO and state government officials, and Cabinet decisions on the matter from time to time.
