Longterok took the lead in the 42nd minute when a misjudged clearance by 27 United’s goalkeeper deflected a long pass from Namang into an unexpected goal. However, substitute Lohrii’s stunning long-range strike in the 53rd minute rescued a point for 27 United.
In the second match of the day, Red Scars FC edged Frontier Warriors FC 2-1, thanks to a late own goal. Sentilong of Red Scars and Danmei of Frontier Warriors were on target before Gautam Singh’s unfortunate error in the 90th minute sealed Frontier Warriors’ fate.
At Chümoukedima, Nagaland United SC defeated Sechü Zubza FC 2-1, with N Peseyie netting a brace in the 45+5 and 84th minutes. Pynba scored Sechü’s only goal in the 58th minute.
