Nagaland will feature in the 77th Republic Day parade with its tableau dedicated to the Hornbill Festival, highlighting the state’s rich culture, tourism, and self-reliance. The parade, scheduled for January 26 on Kartavya Path in New Delhi, will display a total of 30 tableaux — 17 representing States and Union Territories and 13 from Ministries, Departments, and Services.
The broad themes for this year’s parade are ‘Swatantrata ka Mantra: Vande Mataram’ and ‘Samriddhi ka Mantra: Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’ These themes aim to celebrate 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram alongside the country’s rapid progress driven by growing self-reliance across sectors.
