Mokokchung, October 6 (MTNews): Nagaland’s U19 team is participating in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2022-23. The first match of the tournament for Nagaland will be played in Haryana against Baroda on October 7. Nagaland is grouped with giant teams Baroda, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Mumbai in Group-F.
Nagaland will play Maharashtra on October 8, Chhattisgarh on October 10, Gujarat on October 12 and Mumbai on October 14.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt from Nagaland Cricket Association sources that the Nagaland squad for the tournament is led by Yughandar Singh as captain. Khrievitso Kense, Neizekho Rupreo, Keduowhetuo, Suja Prasad, Kavito Lemtur, Neizolie Metha, Renjanthung Tungoe, Samuel Zaputou, Kelhousilie Zaputou, Keneizetuo Rio and Dip Baruah.
Kechesin Keppen (Team Manager and Assistant Coach), Abhijit Chatterjee (Head Coach), Kinchit Nagar (S & C Coach), and Methalo Magh (Physio) are the support staff.
