Mokokchung, 13 February (MTNews): In a remarkable display of talent and cultural competence, 25 students from all four campuses of Nagaland University participated in the 37th UNIFEST, ‘Karmotsav 2.0’ North East Zone at Royal Global University, Guwahati. The university clinched several positions across diverse categories, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and artistic flair of its students.

Nagaland University excels at

Dr Imlitoshi Jamir, from the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), was the contingent in-charge, leading the Nagaland University team to success. The event witnessed a competitive spirit among various universities in the region, and Nagaland University emerged with flying colors in multiple categories.

The notable achievements included 2nd Position in Western Group Song; 3rd Position in Folk Dance; 4th Place in Cultural Procession; 5th Place in Western Solo; and 5th Place in Poster Making
Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. Wangshimenla, expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments and highlighted the dedication and hard work put in by the participants. She commended their commitment to upholding the cultural values and traditions of Nagaland University.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Registrar Dr Abemo, and other university officials extended their heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for their outstanding performance. “Their success not only brings honor to Nagaland University but also reflects the talent and dedication of the students in representing the institution at a regional level,” a press note received here said.
