Nagaland University marked the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 by inaugurating three new buildings, further strengthening its commitment to higher education in Nagaland.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.K. Patnaik inaugurated the Administrative Building, VIP Guest House, and the New Science Faculty Building in the presence of Registrar Dr. Abemo, Finance Officer Mr. Albert Khizho, Controller of Examinations Er. Yanrenthung Ezung, Deputy Registrar (Finance) & Nodal Officer (HEFA) Ms. Angunuo Khieya, and other stakeholders of the university. A prayer of dedication for the buildings was offered by the Pastor of Lumami Baptist Church.
Prof. Patnaik expressed gratitude to all who contributed to realizing the project and noted that several more buildings were in the pipeline.
