The School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema, organized a two-day industrial visit to the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Kohima, Nagaland, from October 7–8, 2025. On the first day, a total of 29 B.Tech final-year students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Information Technology visited the institute.

On the second day, 32 B.Tech students, comprising pre-final and final-year students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Department of Information Technology, and the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, visited the institute. During both visits, Abhishek Misra, Additional Director & OIC STPI Kohima, interacted with the students and explained the various entrepreneurial opportunities available through STPI. He encouraged students to generate ideas and develop them into products to address societal, educational, and other challenges. The students also gained hands-on experience using the various equipment available in the laboratories.

The students interacted with Meghna Priya, Consultant, who explained the different internship and job opportunities in various organizations. In his vote of thanks, Shanchamo Yanthan, In-Charge of Placement and Training, SET, expressed sincere gratitude to Abhishek Misra for graciously hosting the students and providing them with the opportunity to explore and gain exposure to the facilities. He also thanked the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Kohima Campus and the Dean of NU-SET for facilitating such valuable learning experiences.
