Nagaland State Commission for Women Chairperson W Nginyeih Konyak has received the State Human Rights Award for her contribution to the field of human rights.
The award was presented by the World Human Rights Research Council during the International Convention for Human Rights 2026 held in New Delhi on October 25.
The award recognises individuals for their contributions at the state level in human rights, peace, justice, research and public awareness, with a focus on grassroots transformation and regional advocacy.
