The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) has convened an emergency General Body Meeting (GBM) to deliberate on preparations for the Wushu competition in the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026.

According to a notification issued on March 10, the meeting will be held on March 17 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in Kohima.

The GBM has been convened with the approval of NWA president Kudecho Khamo, who is also MLA and Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Government of Nagaland. The meeting will focus on discussions related to the organisation and conduct of the Wushu competition during the upcoming state level games, which are scheduled to begin on April 7, 2026.

In this regard, all affiliated unit presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. In case they are unable to attend, they may depute another official with technical knowledge of Wushu and familiarity with the functioning of the association to represent them.

The association has urged all concerned officials to attend the meeting to ensure smooth preparation and coordination for the Wushu events at the forthcoming games.
