Avizo was initially scheduled to fight Zahoor Shah of Afghanistan at the event but the fight fell through which brought in Arun Nagar as a replacement. Despite the last-minute hiccup, Avizo managed to get the win and bounced back from his loss against Rahul Thapa at MFN 12.

After the win, Avizo went on to call out the winner of Shyamanand vs. Rahul Thapa which is currently scheduled to happen at Matrix Fight Night 15 on August 31 in Noida.

Avizo began his professional MMA career in 2022 at Matrix Fight Night 9, following a successful amateur career both domestically and internationally. He debuted with a win against Abhishek Negi, followed by another victory over Dushyant Singh at MFN 10.
