Kohima, August 19 (MTNews): National Health Mission, Nagaland in collaboration with AXIS Bank Limited, Kohima Branch conducted a two-day orientation training on Fund Disbursement and Management Solution (FDMS) from 17th of August 2022 at the Chief Medical Office (CMO) conference Hall, Kohima.
An update from National Health Mission, Kohima stated that the training was held in line with the Ministry of Finance O.M. for ‘Procedure for release of funds under Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) and monitoring utilization of funds released’. The FDMS will be used as a tool for effective fund management and bring m ore efficiency in disbursement to NHM Schemes at various Agency level, the update said.
Dr.Thorhusie Katiry, Mission Director NHM, who was also present, thanked AXIS Bank for giving their valuable time to share and explain in-depth on FDMS and appealed the District and Block Accounts Manger under the umbrella of National Health Mission and Financial Consultant, Program Division l to take the opportunity and clear up all their queries as such kind of training cannot be organized frequently. Dr.Katiry was addressing the participants in the presence of Dr.Mereninla Senlem, State Program Officer, NHM and Dr.Tinurenla, Dy. Director, NHM. The resource persons were led by Mr. Keneingutuo Albert, Finance Manager, NHM along with representatives from AXIS Bank and IT Solution team.
