Mokokchung, August 6 (MTNews): The National People’s Party (NPP) Dimapur District Unit together with the State Parent Body and its frontal bodies held a consultative meeting at Café Mitron, Dimapur on 6th August 2022 at 10 am. In the meeting, the State President, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema expressed great happiness to see the vitality and motivation of the party workers from Dimapur District.

He also lamented that the state was one of the most underdeveloped states and has the highest number of unemployed youths. Therefore, he urged the party workers to bring about a positive transformation by electing only virtuous, honest and people-centric candidates in the upcoming elections. He concluded that if elected to power, NPP would bring ripples of change after the next ULB and Assembly elections.

He called upon the party workers to work tirelessly under the party’s inspirational and undying motto of ‘One Voice, One North East!’

The meeting was led by Rocky Ngullie, General Secretary (Organization), NPP Dimapur District and was attended by around 200 NPP party members from Dimapur-I, Dimapur-II and Dimapur-III constituencies along with the NPP District Youth, Women and Minority members.

The Dimapur District President of NPP, Yangertoshi Ao, welcomed the party members and expressed hope that the meeting would result into a positive development for the party and will surely reinvigorate and reenergize the efforts of the party workers to work for the party’s optimum growth.

The other speakers included Heto Achumi, Vice President, State NPYF; Pinky Sukhalu, Vice President and Spokesperson, State Women Wing; and Ranjit Singhvi, State Advisor, Minority Cell.

During the discussion hour, several agendas including candidature for the upcoming election, party membership drive, strategies to be followed for the next assembly polls, etc. were discussed during which party representatives from all the constituencies and booth levels committed themselves towards the unity and progress of the party at all levels.

The meeting concluded with Vote of Thanks proposed by Imnashin Jamir from the Dimapur District NPYF.
