Kohima, 27 February (MTNews): The Department of English,Nagaland University, Kohima Campus successfully organized a National Workshop focused on ‘Naga Traditional Knowledge Education: Implementation of Alternative Curriculum.’ The event, held on 27 February 2024, aimed to foster a deeper understanding of Naga culture and heritage through alternative educational approaches, a press release from the university informed.
Distinguished academic and founder of SPIC MACAY, Prof. Kiran Seth, Padmashri, and Professor at IIT Delhi, delivered a thought-provoking special lecture on ‘Culture and Heritage.’ Prof. Seth’s insights provided participants with a unique perspective on the significance of preserving and promoting traditional knowledge within the educational framework.
