The Nature SBI Foundation Health Outreach Project in Kiphire, Nagaland, continues to deliver free and accessible healthcare to remote communities in Kiphire district. This month, the project reached 20 villages across the district.

A total of 34 free health camps were conducted, providing medical support to 688 patients. The team also carried out 258 laboratory tests, ensuring early detection and timely care. All services, including doctor consultations, general medicines, lab tests, ECG, eye check-ups, sugar and blood pressure checks, and health awareness sessions, were provided completely free of cost.

The health team aims to visit every village at least once a month, and wherever possible, twice a month, so that rural communities receive regular and reliable healthcare.

An awareness programme was also held at Langkok Village, focusing on clean drinking water, personal and household cleanliness, malaria prevention, and simple hygiene practices for better well-being. These sessions helped villagers understand how everyday habits play a key role in protecting their families and improving community health.

Village leaders, youth volunteers, and local health workers extended strong support in coordinating and informing the public, ensuring active participation throughout the camps.

The SBIF Health Outreach Project remains committed to strengthening Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3) and building healthier rural communities across Nagaland, one village at a time.
