Mokokchung, 27 July (MTNews): The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) Selection Committee has selected the 12-member boys’ team to represent the state in the 48th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship scheduled to be held from 3–9 August 2023 in Puducherry. A press note from the Nagaland Basketball Association stated that the trials were held in Kohima and Dimapur simultaneously on 15 July.
The competition is organized by Puducherry Basketball Association, under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India.
The state junior boys’ team is led by Nagaland head coach Chumbenthung Humtsoe and team manager Rajan Nayak.
