On the morning of May 31, the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) flagged off a bike rally from West Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) Centre, Akuvuto, Thahekhu Village, Dimapur, to commemorate 150 years of Christianity in Nagaland and to raise awareness about the ‘Clean Election Movement’ (CEM) at the grassroots. The bike rally started in Dimapur and travelled via Medziphema, Kohima town, Tseminyu town, Wokha-VK Town, to Impur (ABAM Mission Centre) where they will halt for the night. On June 1, the bikers will continue with the rally from Impur to Mokokchung-Akuluto Town-Zunheboto-Satakha town-Chozuba town before culminating at the NBCC Headquarter office, Bayavü Hill, Kohima.
A total of 145 motorcyclists including three females are participating in the rally which also has two nurses, two mechanics, and three media persons enlisted for the duration of the rally.
Seen here is a snippet of their journey as they passed by Mokokchung Town at around 8.30 PM in the evening of May 31.
