Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced that the Department of School Education & Literacy and the Secretary of the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India, have directed all educational institutions to onboard as “Knowledge Institutions” onto the MYBharat portal. The NBSE stated that the MYBharat portal has been launched as an institutional mechanism to enhance youth outreach and capacity building.

Upon successful onboarding, Universities, Colleges, Schools, and Technical Institutions will receive a dedicated web page, enabling them to create digital versions of youth engagement events, such as short-term ‘Volunteer for Bharat’ and long-term ‘Experiential Learning’ events. Youth participating in these events will have their work reflected on their individual profile pages provided on the portal.

The registration link for onboarding educational institutions is mybharat.gov.in/partnerregister, and the enclosed SOP for self-registration should be followed for successful onboarding onto the MYBharat portal. In this regard, the NBSE has requested the Heads of Institutions to register as Knowledge Institutions through the link as soon as possible and to make use of the MYBharat portal.
