Kohima, March 5 (MTNews): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified for information of all registered institutions under NBSE that the Election Commission of India is organizing a National Voters’ Awareness Contest with the theme ‘My Vote is my Future-Power of One Vote.’’ This contest is a part of the Election Commission of India’s Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program to tap the talent and creativity of the people so as to strengthen democracy through participation.
The National Voters’ Awareness Contest shall have five categories of contest viz:Quiz Contest; Slogan Contest; Song Contest; Video Making Contest; and Poster Design Contest. All Heads of Registered Institutions of the Board have been requested to inform their students and encourage them to participate in large numbers and understand the importance of every vote through creative expression.
