The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced that the HSSLC Examination 2025 will commence on February 11 with 17,194 students appearing across 68 examination centres.

A major highlight of this year’s examination is the implementation of the NBSE Connect App – Question Paper Tracking, launched on January 21, 2025. The app is designed to enhance transparency and fairness by enabling real-time monitoring of question paper movement across Nagaland’s districts.

Centre Superintendents are required to upload time-stamped, geo-tagged images at key stages of the process, ensuring the safe transfer and distribution of question papers.

The steps include:

At the Treasury Office/Bank  – Centre Superintendents take a photo upon arrival (7:30 AM – 8:40 AM).

Receiving Question Papers – A second photo is taken when collecting the sealed question papers.

Arrival at Examination Centre  – The sealed packets are photographed again at the control room (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM).

Packing of Answer Scripts – After the exam, sealed answer scripts are recorded through the app (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM).

Delivery to Post Office – The final step involves submitting the sealed answer scripts to the post office on the same day.

As of today, 65 out of 68 examination centres have successfully uploaded the required images using the app. NBSE officials are monitoring the updates in real time to ensure compliance and improve the security of the examination process.
